We present “The Forbidden One,” the first full length album by progressive technical death metal connoisseurs Optical Delusion.

Based on the TCG/Anime “Yu-Gi-Oh!,” the album revolves around cards from the first set released in the TCG.

The tracks on this album are determined to stick with the listener and cement their place in the realm of progressive technical death metal. With eight string death metal, augmented/whole tone sections, Alan Watts clips, and more, there is more than enough substance to satisfy your metal needs. The album also features a bonus track of the song “Uroboric Forms” from Cynic’s 1993 masterpiece “Focus.” The cover stays faithful and respectful to the original while adding their own personal touch.
